IFLA Forum – Inspiring and Empowering Volunteers for IFLA 2012 Helsinki
The IFLA 2012 Helsinki Volunteers Recruiting Group, set up by the Finnish National Committee IFLA 2012 Helsinki, will organize and sponsor in co-operation with the International Relations Group of the Finnish Research Library Association an IFLA information and discussion forum.
The Forum will first briefly highlight IFLA as a global library and information organization, and give fresh insights into its new structures and functions, its core values and current challenges, and will then focus on the issues of the IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2012 Helsinki, August 11-16; in particular on the roles and responsibilities of the volunteers in the context of the Congress.
